250717 BICHEDAM Participates in 2025 Agri-Food Tech Startup Expo, Showcases Circulation-Enhancing Health Supplement ‘G-Pyeonan-

BICHEDAM participated in the 2025 Agri-Food Tech Startup Expo (AFPRO 2025), held from Wednesday, July 16 to Friday, July 18, for three days at COEX Hall C in Seoul.

Founded in 2022, BICHEDAM is a natural product-based pharmaceutical development company that recently successfully completed its Pre-Series A funding round. BICHEDAM’s compound extract (hereinafter BCD101) consists of six medicinal herbs derived from food and medicine.

Based on Saengmaeksan, traditionally used in Korean medicine to promote qi and blood circulation and relax muscles and nerves, BICHEDAM plans to focus on developing treatments for intractable diseases using its core material, BCD101.

Specifically, Alzheimer’s dementia, Parkinson’s disease, glaucoma, and other degenerative and neurological disorders are set as the main indications, and the company is currently collaborating with specialized research institutions.

At the exhibition, BICHEDAM showcased its flagship product, G-Peace Liquid. As a health functional food aimed at improving blood circulation, the local prototype has been produced, and the product is scheduled for release in August.

Meanwhile, AFPRO 2025 is an exhibition that brings together promising startups in the agri-food sector and hosts programs such as government-owned patent technology transfer briefings, demo days, IR sessions, and product evaluations, involving investors, buyers, and researchers. It also provides one-on-one meetings with investors and buyers to help startups generate tangible results. Exhibiting startups included those in △AgTech (smart farming) with smart farm systems, big data, AI cloud, automated/unmanned equipment (harvesting robots, automated control, etc.), △FoodTech related to alternative foods, customized/specialty foods, ready-to-eat meals, production processes, retail/delivery/foodservice (cooking/serving robots, etc.), and △Green Bio sectors including microbes (fertilizers, pesticides, feed, fermentation), natural products and food materials, seeds, insects, veterinary pharmaceuticals, and pet tech.
