241209 BICHEDAM Secures KRW 1 Billion Investment

BICHEDAM Co., Ltd., a company developing natural compound–based pharmaceuticals, announced on the 6th that it has secured a total of KRW 1 billion in Pre-A funding, following its seed investment in the first half of 2024.

With this investment, BICHEDAM has reached a cumulative funding total of KRW 1 billion, securing a stable foundation for future growth.

The investment involved participation from the Agricultural Policy Insurance Fund and The Next Lab, and reflects recognition of the growth potential and innovation of the green bio sector based on natural compounds.

Building on this, BICHEDAM plans to focus on developing therapies for various degenerative diseases, including age-related hypertension and dementia. In addition, BICHEDAM was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ TIPS program in July 2023, securing a total of KRW 500 million in R&D funding.
