240427 Korea Securities Depository Selects Nine Regional Startups for Incubation and Support

K-Camp Daegu 5th Cohort Launched with 9 Startups Participating

The Korea Securities Depository has selected nine companies to participate in its startup incubation and support program, “K-Camp Daegu, 5th Cohort.”

On the 27th, the Daegu Branch of the Korea Securities Depository announced that it recently held a “Kick-off Workshop” with nine companies selected to participate in the K-Camp Daegu 5th Cohort program. The participating companies are ▷ LMK Co., Ltd. ▷ Milepost Co., Ltd. ▷ L-Line Co., Ltd. ▷ Stability Co., Ltd. ▷ BICHEDAM Co., Ltd. ▷ Ilmanbaekman ▷ Rehigh Co., Ltd. ▷ Fondmakers Co., Ltd. ▷ Maeweolmaeju Co., Ltd.

The Korea Securities Depository plans to provide these nine companies with six months of support starting this month, including company-specific mentoring, business model enhancement, crowdfunding consulting, investment attraction support, special lectures and workshops for scale-up, and networking opportunities.

The program will be operated by Y&ARCHER Co., Ltd., a professional accelerator. In addition, financial support for conducting securities-based crowdfunding will be provided to two outstanding companies selected upon completion of the program.

In addition, the Korea Securities Depository plans to operate the “DGU IR·CF STAR Contest” program this year to strengthen the capabilities of prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs and to promote the activation of crowdfunding. An official from the Daegu Branch of the Korea Securities Depository stated, “We will continue to make efforts to create a sustainable startup growth ecosystem in which small and medium-sized enterprises as well as venture companies and startups in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk region can achieve continued growth.”
